Every year, Geneva has a corporate holiday party. The last two years I have been in charge of planning it. I arranged most of it before I left on maternity leave and then met Michelle and Laurel at Pier One to purchase centerpieces and decorations. Pixie was doing really good and then all of a sudden she was done. She was crying and me still being in the “my kid should not cry in public” state could not handle that she was crying. Michelle graciously took her from me and got her to calm down so I could finish the shopping!
Brendan and Pixie stayed home for the event which gave me some time to not fuss over Bridget and to just be.

Grandma Billie found out that Dad was going to be by himself so she quickly came over to offer assistance (not that it was needed but any excuse to see Bridget!)
