I thought Christmas would be insane this year with a little one…but thankfully my family rocks and did not put any expectations on us! We celebrated my mom’s birthday and Christmas the same day which made my life easy! My mom’s friend Lynn had her mom make a dedication/baptism outfit for Pixie. It is beautiful…now to schedule the dedication—it is on my list of things to do! It is amazing how much time a little one takes from you.
We went to my Uncle Wayne’s house for my dad’s family Christmas. It was super chill. I did not take pictures of this event but this picture is from the event…I thought that should count for something!
Last but not least, The O’Brien Family Christmas was at our house. Brendan made this AMAZING dinner! Bridget was not having it…she decided to cry the entire time which then sent me into a first time mom frenzy where I could not relax because I was so concerned about making her quiet…you know so that it would not annoy anyone…note to self: it is more annoying to people to have the mom apologize nine billion times then to just let the dang kid cry! All of that to say…it was not the most amazing O’Brien event but the food was dang good and the company were very understanding!

Aunt Kathleen got Bridget to sleep..she was a miracle worker that night!
Family dinner less the new parents...

This was the very first Christmas present Pixie received...and it was perfect! Aunt Kathleen knitted a beautiful blanket in Sounders colors!
