Hawaii

I will admit it...I am a particular and scheduled mom.  The thought of a 6 hour flight with a child sitting on my lap gave me heart palpatations...espcecially since this was the first time flying since she has been moble.

I had been praying over our flight for a very easy flight. for weeks!  Prayers answered!!!
When we got on board our seat was in the back next to a nice LARGER man that did not speak english.  The flight attendant asked me if I was alone (which I was not sure how to answer because Bridget was on my lap)...I decided to answer yes...she said come with me...we proceeded all  the way to business class with an extra bonus of Bridget getting her own seat.

As you know from reading this...she does not sleep so I had 6 hours of entertainment.  One being my Kindle which she loved because she never gets screen/TV time.

One of the many adventures we went on was a trip to the beach...Auntie Keri has taken up surfing so we tagged along...it was a fun day at the beach.

Bridget in the van with surf board
She loved putting sand in the bucket and only tried to eat the sand one time

Sir Jackson hanging out with us..after a trip to the emergency room for a pulled groin muscle

Auntie Keri and Bean going into the ocean. Bean did not really like the ocean...maybe next time!

Jackson wanted so badly for Bridgey to sit on his lap...so we tried it for a bit.

Aunie Chanda and Auntie Keri waiting for a wave

It rained one day---really really hard---so we had to have a day of relaxation and just hnaging out on the couch...Joel and Jack had other plans as they decided to take their boogie boards down the driveway (I am not kidding it was raining that hard).

Bean on Auntie Keri's lap singing Oh Elephant for the 900th time!

Another day we decided to go geocaching...which is basically like going on a treasure hunt.  Auntie Keri found one down at lagoon 4 so we packed up and went to look for a treasure...

The hunt is on!  I am not sure what we found...I think a tatoo and a sticker...not sure but I know we found it!

Happy girls---we had our treasure!

On Sunday,  we headed in to Honolulu for church.  Bridget loved Jack and Joel's flash cards she had to have them everytime we were in the car...Thanks boys for letting her bend the cards!

Bridget being a big girl buckling her seat belt...and there might have been a lost graham cracker!

Every morning we were greeted by Jack....followed by Joel a bit later.  Poor Keri Jackson was waking up earlier than normal so that he could come crawl in our bed...it did not help that Bridget was up every morning at 3:25!
I know Bridget looks upset but she was talking and the flash spooked her a bit.

On Auntie Chanda's last day, we went to the beach for one last surf...it was in the morning after dropping off the boys at school..it was such great fun!

She figured out that she could crawl in the sand,...AWESOME!

We then went to the Dixie Grill to get Chanda sauced for the flight home...that and the therory was that if sauced she would not cry about leaving...therory busted!

We headed home and it was not a fun flight but we survived...Bridget was done traveling and needed some sleep...as you know she does not sleep in the car and if she does she immediately wakes up when the car is put in park...not this time!

Good night baby girl!
