Happy Birthday to Momma!

For my birthday Auntie Keri sent us party favors so that we could celebrate together on Facetime.  When I called her,  her and the boys had the same glasses!  It was a ton of fun and just happy.

Swing Time

Brendan found a secret park where the swings are always available and it is close to us!  I would tell you where it is but well...you know (actually I can only drive there I do not know the cross streets or even the name)

I have a feeling we will spend most of the summer on the "wings" as Bridget fondly refers to them!

Marcie has returned....

When Grandma AH! came back from Hawaii, she brought Marcie and a new friend back to us! Bridget was so excited to have Marcie back!  Thank you Jackson!!!

Also, Joel sent us ebbie baby!  Thank you Joel!

They go everywhere with us and sleep in our bed.  Bridget smells them...I think they smell like her cousins!

We miss you!

Breakfast with Dadda

Bridget loves to have breakfast with Brendan!  She eats his yogurt and takes over his iPad.

I could not resist posting a lunch time picture too

The zoo!

We went to the zoo for the very first time on Friday! Aunt Pat, Olivia and Andres met us there to show us the ropes. We had a to of fun! Bridget loved the elephant. She blew it kisses and waved hello. Andres was our tour guide and took us everywhere navigating us with the zoo map. Olivia took us to see her favorite the meerkat. Bridget thought hose were pretty great too! We followed our visit to the zoo with a trip to McDonalds!

We are blue because we are under water!

Play date with Jace and Callia

We finally did it! Coreen and I were able to schedule a play date. One of Bridget's favorite things to do is to say hello between her legs and then if you do it she crawls between your legs and kisses your face. Callia decided to check this game out.

Sunday at the park

The sun was shining, we had no plans and Bridget was refusing to nap...so Brendan loaded us up and away we went.   Bridget started to get tired eyes so we pulled over at Ruston to wake her up a bit (we would rather her get a proper nap at home).  It was so beautiful out!  Bridget loved being pushed in the stroller by dada...WOA! was all she really said and then go go...when Brendan stopped.

Getting ready for the trip...she only likes to wear them inside the house.

Brendan ran around in the circle (you can see the tracks) and Bridget LOVED it

Dada and Bridgie

Family Pic

Brendan took the stroller off roadin' through this marsh...Bean thought it was pretty cool til we stopped for a picture

Down at Ruston there is a new park at the beginning......It has all of these really tall rocks that Bridget loved to touch.

 Telling Secrets...

Right next to my work is the 10th Street Bridge.  It has been under construction or closed for as long as I can remember.  It opened a couple of months ago and I really wanted to go accorss it...so Brendan made it happen for me!

Pixie Turns Seventeen Months!

Oh my how the time is flying.  I was giggling the other day as I was rocking Beanie to sleep...I was thinking of the countless conversations with Destiny I had about if I would ever be able to get her to sleep without a swaddle and do they make swaddles for 16 year olds....And what happens if she never rolls over...and then I don't want to take her to the doctor for not crawling....All of that to say that Bridget is on her own time schedule and just when I give up worrying about something (Ahem walking)...she shows me that she is almost ready to take the bull by the horns.

Bridget can walk she absolutely chooses not to.  She stands on her own if no one is watching.  Please don't misunderstand me...she is not walking at all...she just could if her life depended on it.  She is a kick!

I know I always say that she is a joy and a funny little girl.  This month I would say that too but I have heard so many times form others that she is a smart little thing...and I have to agree!

A couple of new things this month is to point her finger like a gun and click her tongue...thank you Auntie Destiny.  (kind of like the heres looking at you kid click, click)

She will mimic any sound dada makes...especially songs that have Ooohs, woes and yeahs...followed of course by snaps and claps.

She is in 24 month clothing...which is on par for her...she has always ran in the 88% for height and weight...which generally puts her one size ahead of her age.   I would like to point out that there is a horsey on her dress and tights so getting her to sit still without petting the horse was a miracle.

No no mama...she said as she almost fell off...I think this pose might be going bye-bye

Oh the famous--knock knock hello game (see 16 months)

Dear Jackson---We have your dog....

Dear Cousin Jackson-

We have your dog Marcie.  If you ever want to see her again...well...good luck.  You see I have taken a liking to her and sleep with her every night.  She likes to go everywhere with me...and I really like to smell her and kiss her.

She keeps me up at night because I tell her stories.  Moma had to come in and take her away one night because I would not stop talking to her!

I am sorry cousin but finders keepers!  XOXO- Bridget

You should know Marcie was returned to her rightful owner (although Bridget does not agree to rightful owner) via air mail (plane flight with Grandma Ah!) No tears were shed during the giving back process...because moma did it while I was sleeping!

Happy Easter

Easter was low key...and I mean low key!  We had just finished with me getting back from Hawaii.  Keri and the boys coming home with me for my grandpa's funeral.  My dad and Cathy went to the property to settle their souls and my mom and John went to Destiny's in-laws house.... so as usual protocol we went to Nana's.

When we got there we found that the Easter bunny had arrived with a basket of goodies!!!  It was so precious watching Bridget open each item and look at it before getting the next item out of the basket.

This is an Easter pop-up book...She LOVES books.

This picture cracks me up...she is reaching for me as I am coming up the stairs.

Quack, Quack...this is Bridget's new animal sound...perfect for Easter!

Nana laying on the floor in her apron reading a book with Bridget...

Dada playing with a new bouncy green ball.

Then she conned Papa into reading the book on the floor

Little miss big girl...are you kidding me?!  She looks so big!

The Farm

When Keri and the boys were here we had the opportunity to go to the Helle Farm...Bridget got to see her first ever cow!  I think cows are a top three contender for favorite animal.
