Pixie turns eight months

Seriously!  These were some of the hardest pictures to take.  Part because she can sit up on her own but she cannot quite navigate what happens when she moves...so she cannot catch herself yet...so it was a ton of flying off the bunny and near misses.  I am happy to announce that we both came out alive!  Her personality is really starting to shine...she is the funniest little girl and so darn happy.  Such a little blessing!
 

Physical Milestones:  She can sit up on her own and perfers to sit up...no more tummy time or back time.  She can't quite figure out how to get into the sitting position or how to get out of a full body reach.  She loves to lean and reach for her toys then kind of fuss for help.  She also makes what we call "old man face"  it is when she pulls her lips in and smacks them together.

Favorite Toys:  Blocks!  Especially when dada stacks them and she can knock them over.  She also loves a triangle with tags on it.  Soft books and cardboard books.  She is really into turning the pages.  She loves picture books with faces.  

Favorite Games:  Knocking blocks over and looking at the baby in the mirror (this is usually done while I get ready for work)

Like I said these pictures were tough work... sorry they are so blurry but we were both in action the entire time!

 

Compare....Oh my she grows so fast...we are only talking about 4 weeks!
