Working??
So as you know Bridget gets to stay home with dad and work. Brendan tells me she is so helpful....she tried to type emails for him and everything. Bridget tells me that her favorite part of the day is never getting dressed! Mondays are PJ days with dad...if you are going to have to work you might as well be comfortable!

Pixie turns 7 Months!
Time is flying… We hit some huge milestones this month.
Words: I am pretty convinced she says dada…Brendan is on the fence…But I am giving it to her!
We have been fighting a cold…and so I have been holding off taking her 7 month pictures. But I could not wait any longer…before I know it she will be 8 months! This is the reason for the elephant PJs. She still looks cute though!
Physical Milestones: She
can now roll in both directions! She
sits up on her own…with a little gangsta lean after a few seconds. She is eating solid foods and loving it. She also loves the bath and showers with dad.
Favorite Toys: Clara
the mouse, Sofie the giraffe, and the exersaucer. She still loves books especially if she can
shove them in her mouth.
Favorite Games: Where’s
Bridget…and the she pulls the blanket down and screams (AKA peek-a-boo), Clu-clunk:
a game that Dad and the bean play where he holds her and then stomps on
the ground making that noise. Pass the
baby: Where she reaches out to me and I
hold her then she immediately reaches for auntie Destiny and the passing continues…with
a lot of “no that is my baby” and she giggles.

A weekend without mom
After many discussions,
I left Bridget with Daddy for the weekend. This was my first time away from her
overnight (except when in the hospital).
Michelle and I flew to Laurel’s wedding in Minnesota. We had a great time. It was the shortest trip ever! We flew in on Friday night and drove two
hours to Little Falls. We woke up on
Saturday morning and went shopping and then went to Laurel’s wedding. We work up very early Sunday morning and
headed to the airport (there is a story in there about getting lost on the
way, pumping while driving because we
almost missed the flight….but you get the jest of that story!)
Here is mom's weekend!
I really do not have much to comment on how the weekend went
while I was away…This is what I do know.
Friday night, after MUCH convincing from Pat and me, Brendan went to a concert and Grandma AH!
(Janet) came over and watched Pixie for some of the time. Auntie Destiny come over late that night and
took the night and early morning shift for Brendan. Then on Saturday morning Destiny headed out
and it was just dad and bean. Auntie
Cara came over for a visit and the rest is history. Dad and Bean hung out and she did a great job
sleeping through the night (of course she did!
I was not there!)
Cara and Gabby
Dad made her giggle playing with these pupets...It was awesome...We have it on video but I could not get it to load...just know she is laughing like crazy!
Dad and Bean reading books and getting ready for bed.
Bean totally holding her own bottle!!
On Sunday, Brendan dressed her in these socks that had cats on them...Bridget found it and was determined to investigate what was on her sock...Brendan said it kept her pretty busy for quite awhile.
Here is mom's weekend!

Kickoff Campaign
We had Gramma Billie’s kick off campaign meeting today. Gramma looked beautiful. It was so funny to see Gramma in her
campaign mode…we always see her in mom/gramma mode…she was so professional and
poised. She had a few men speak and do
the ask…they were amazing and spoke such kind words about gramma. It was really fun to see…our fingers are
crossed for the late July elections (primaries first!)
Many thanks to all of our friends that came out to support
Gramma Billie and her kick off campaign.
Also, props to Destiny for making
all the calls for me!! I could not have
planned this without you!
I don't think anyone could miss the place!
Auntie Michelle, Gramma Billie and Auntie Destiny.
Vote for GRAMMA!
Yes I am exhausted...but I am happy to be around people.

Best Drink Machine Ever
On Thursday, Auntie Destiny and Bridget met me at work to
walk to the Downtown Tacoma Farmers Market. Yes…it is June…and yes she is wearing a
stocking cap…we are waiting for summer to come. We had a fun walk and got a ton of
complements on her hat.
Ok so I will try to keep this story short but words cannot portray my excitement about this machine. Here is the story: On our way home from Bryce and Elece’s wedding (in Jan) Brendan and I stopped at a truck stop for dinner (classy I know…but it was late and we needed to get home to catch our flights). I decided that I did not want soda from the Subway and that I wanted to look in the truck stop convenience store for a soda…I wanted options! I perused the soda section and decided I actually wanted a fountain soda…This is where the magic happened…There was a machine as large as you could imagine and it had instructions on it…Step one: Select your ice (oh yes, you could pick cubed or crushed ice….who picks cubed when you have an option?!) The crushed ice came out and it was the Taco Time crushed ice!! Step Two: Select your soda….It was not just your standard coke, DC, etc…they had all the items you expect at a truck stop…ice tea, mountain dew, etc. I picked Diet Coke. Step Three: Select your flavor shot….Lemon, Lime, Cherry, Vanilla!! Are you kidding me?! This just made the options limitless….I could have lime DC and then Cherry DC….I stood there for a good couple of minutes trying to decide because I knew that I could not have a refill and change it up. I went with lime DC because it is the only flavor that you cannot get. It was so cool that even Brendan had fun playing with this stupid soda machine. Oh and sista let me tell you…it was the best soda I had ever made!
All of that to say that on Saturday, Brendan took me and Bridge out to lunch. He took us to Taco Time…which is kind of strange because we NEVER get to eat fast food…and there it was a smaller version of the machine I had been longing for! I was so excited that I would only fill my cup up half way so that I could make all of the different combos. We were there for about an hour…drinking soda…it was AWESOME!
Keri-next time you are in my country we will go there and you can get your bean burrito with hot sauce and I will get my soda!
Ok so that is not even half of the options...because once you pick that you want coke then it goes into another screen of options!!!
The bean was pretty excited too!
